A Happy Mother's Day

Got myself a new charcoal grill. Very similar to my old Aussie (7 yrs old), however this one has the nifty top rack for veggies or whatever.

Also did my old ritual of picking out annuals for my flower beds. Unfortunately, it's been a bit chilly to plant them. Shad picked me up a dozen beautiful Tulips. And Bessie & James Quackenbush came to visit. This is what I named them. They're a Mallard Duck couple that has hung out in our pond for the past 3 years. Kinda Sweet! awwww

Steph's Visit

It was so great to see my friend Steph, beautiful and cheerful as ever. She moved from the hood 2 years ago, time fliiies.....!!! We enjoyed some Papa Murphy's Garlic Chicken pizza, MY FAV, her first time and loved it. Can't wait to travel to the wild, wild, west and visit her family and their new home.

Jeff & Dani's New Apartment

Logan and I visited with Dani and got to check out her new pad. They're in the 3rd Floor Apt. on the right. It's got a lot of charm and character.....just like Danielle!!!

We also met their new kitty Thomasina.
